Our General Dentists
Your primary dental care provider is a general dentist. We recommend seeing them twice a year for checkups and professional cleanings where they can help to prevent, diagnose and treat dental health problems, and manage your general dental health needs.
Our general dentist will take care of any standard dental restorations, like fillings and crowns. They also perform a wide range of dental procedures based on your needs - from root canals to treatment of gum disease and jaw pain (TMD).
General Dentist Qualifications
To become a general dentist, a dental student must successfully complete four years at an accredited dental school.
They must also fulfill the rigorous requirements (including examinations, residencies, and continuing education) of provincial licensing boards.
